This stunning 1.65 acre property in the heart of Gilbert was essentially a blank slate minus the beautiful home and flood irrigated grass. We added a new circle driveway & extended the existing one with pavers. We created an extravagant entryway by lining it with unique and luscious foxtail palms. Designed a dreamy pool that includes a spillover hot tub, a large grotto with a slide, and a diving board. To go with it, we added a spectacular rain wall off the new pergola that’s simply begging kids to cannon ball through it! A couple of cutouts in the pool decking allow for a few essential garden beds. While plumbed tiki torches finish off the pool space and the refinished and upgraded BBQ area. We’ve created a kids paradise (or day at the beach) with their new play path that strolls under a picturesque grape covered tunnel and surrounds the winter lawn & life size sandbox. We incorporated a traditional garden alongside an edible perennial garden, featuring a circular pergola. We planted it with Arabian jasmine (tea), artichokes, and a few more grape vines. Beautiful Pakistan mulberries and bamboo screening will all but eliminate the two story houses nearby. We also incorporated a Barbados cherry hedge to provide a nice edible buffer on the west side between adjacent properties, it loves basking in full AZ sun! To finish off this desert “park like” oasis we added an island garden bed to house the king of eucalyptus, the rainbow, as well as a few others worthy of tropical royalty. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a large bridge for the kiddos to cross the isle!
